Integrated project delivery (IPD) is a way to organize project teams to achieve lean construction to eliminate waste, cut costs, improve productivity, and create positive outcomes. This approach integrates all team members (owner, architect, construction manager, engineers, and subcontractors) to form a collaborative effort allowing for the team to leverage their experiences and talent to obtain the best results and increase value for the project.
IPD integrates the use of BIM and prefabrication, allowing for an innovative, high-quality delivery in less time and within budget through shared risk and reward by the team.
